Globe Innove using Transparent proxy??
if you are a Globe Innove internet subscriber and has a static ip address, Check out your ip address at whatismyip . As of this writing, it seems Globe is using Transparent Proxy. Request to www.google.com is redirected to www.google.com.ph. Rapidshare downloads will prompt that you are currently downloading a file though you are not.

Its true. I've been a decent rapidshare abuser and even my sendspace and megaupload has been detecting the proxies.
Its globe's way to probably manage bandwidth but doing so forcibly. pisses me off.
By the way penoy, all requests to google automatically redirect to www.google.com.ph for as long as i remember; that's not a result of going through a transparent proxy. FYI. Google probably does it on their side.
